I ask myself why would someone who dos not even know that one would need the engine model at least and possibly the serial number to give an accurate answer to that question thinks they need to know. Although injectors are simple devices there is more to ensuring that they are working correctly than just setting the opening pressure. I would also expect any Injection equipment company you ask to test or overhaul the injectors to have a source of that information. The old and therefor possibly inaccurate manual I ave gives the "bursting" pressure of 160 atm to allow it to fall to between 140 to 155 atm as it beds in. This is for the LR engines. For the SR engines they give 200atm to allow it to settle to 190atm. There is still the dribble, back leakage and spray pattern to consider - even if this engine is an SL or SR. Take advice - get an expert to overhaul them for you. Should cost about £45 an injector and they will be as good as new. Tony Brooks
