Post Subject: canal moorings

First of all you have to define your question to a considerable degree. There are a number of different sorts of moorings and it is unreasonable to expect someone to go onto www.waterscape.com and sort such a wide geographical area to save you doing it. Even if I did it you would still be faced with along list of potential moorings that you would still have to work through. Do you want:- On-line offside mooring (BW) On-line nearside mooring (BW) Ditto (Private), marina, true residential (best of luck), winter mooring, short term mooring, mooring for use during cruises? There is no such canal as the "Trent canal" The Trent is a river and much of it is tidal in the area you mention so mooring there would not be such a bright idea unless in a locked marina. If you can be more specific and narrow down the geographical area then maybe so readers form that area will be able to give you some leads. Tony Brooks
