Dear Tony, Andrew Edwards, in his article, 'Designing your first boat' in the May edition of Canal Boat wrote that, "some surveyors are now recommending eight to ten anodes on second hand boats." As my two year old motor barge is coming up for its first re-blacking (two-pack epoxy) I would appreciate your advice in respect of where they should be fitted to give maximum protection, and yet will not be prone to being physically damaged during cruising. Also, is it possible to fit an anode to protect the bow thruster tube?
