We have a guidwife stove that we no longer require and was was wondering if anyone wants it? Does anyone know if this has any value?

Post Subject: Guidwife stove for Canal Boat

After a bit of Googling this "stove" appears to be a small range that may well be suitable for use in an authentic type Boatman's cabin. It looks a bit large for "normal" boat heating use. In view of you not receiving any replies to your last post I suspect it is too specialised for this forum. I suggest that you do an internet search for Canal or Inland Boating and put it on some of the forums you find. Also post it on UK.Rec.Waterways. You might just strike lucky with someone rebuilding an ex-working boat or building a replica. Tony Brooks
