Post Subject: Louvre Windows

I have a 50 foot narrow boat from the 1980 with louvre windows. Unfortunately we had a breakin and although they got in by forcing the doors, they obviously force a window first before realising that they couldn't fit through the slats! In doing this the plastic pivot points on the operating mechanism for the window were sheared. I'm having trouble finding a spare parts do you know where, or if, I can obtain some?

Dear Richard, sorry to hear about the break in. All I can suggest is that you look on the glass or frames for a makers name or use the adds in the back of the magazine to ring the various makers and ask them. Sorry. Tony Brooks
