Post Subject: Boat DIY

I've got an old Reader's Digest DIY book which I have found invaluable as a home owner. Could you recommend a boat basics DIY book for the layperson?

Dear Emily, the editor will love this but I found Waterways World's "The Narrowboat Builders Book" usefully in understanding the systems. You can also download both sets of course notes from my website (Tb-Training.co.uk). Print them out section by section as you read and digest them. Canal Boat also published a collection of articles but I can not find reference to it on the website. Unfortunately I have not read any other books but the IWA have a comprehensive book list and supply mail order. Tony Brooks
