Post Subject: Battery wiring diagram

The full subject is discussed in the Electrical Course Notes on www.tb-training.co.uk. To calculate the cable size we need to know the current the starter will draw and the length of cable run. Too thick is fine, to thin can cause a fire. Do not hold us to this but for a typical inland boat 40 sq mm cable should be fine. However is your boat typical? Tony Brooks
