Post Subject: Bristol to Sharpness

Hi I would like your advice on the Bristol to Sharpness route. I intend to travel next 2-3 weeks. Anyone experienced who would be interested in coming along please drop me a line. Mac

I suggest you post this on the Canal World Web Forum as well. You need a pilot and you will have to pay for that. Make sure there is no water in the bottom of your fuel tank and change the fuel filters a day or two before departure so any problems show themselves before you get onto tidal waters. Carry spare filters and know how to change them and bleed the engine. Finally make sure your insurance covers you, many inland policies do not or require an extra premium. Tony Brooks
