Post Subject: Fuel cut off solenoid

I have a Bukh DV20 rngine and the fuel cut of solenoid valve has burnt out; any info on where I can obtain one, other than through a Bukh agent, would be greatly appreciated. thanks Lester

Post Subject: Fuel cut off solenoid

Dear Les, ASAP Supplies list a variety of external solenoids (ASAP-Supplies.com). If the DV20 uses a "screw in" type solenoid like the DV36 (actually I think the injector pumps are different) then your local diesel injection specialist should be able to supply one - even if you do have to modify the wiring from energise to stop to energise to run. If it is similar to the larger screw in ones used by Mitsubishi (Vetus & Thornecroft)then a Mitsubishi agricultural or plant dealer may be able to help. Tony Brooks
