HI. is there a guide on how to install a narrow boat stove that also has diagrams of the parts needed and how they fit to the boat.Thanks

The short answer is no. There is now BS8511 covering the installation of solid fuel stoves in boats. It would be best to get it form your library because there was an older draft around on the net and the final version is rather different. I have no idea what you mean by "parts". The stove vendor should be able to advise on the flue parts you need (unless this is another Ebay "bargain"). The means of securing the stove varies from boat to boat. Then there is the question of what you surround it with. What you do not use is any form of wood based board, tiled or not. You need a fire/heat resistant board with insulation of an air gap behind it. Anyway have a look at the BS, it should be a help. Tony Brooks
